Though you probe my heart,

    though you examine me at night and test me,

    through what your lips have commanded.

 

My steps have held to your paths;

    my feet have not stumbled.
I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;
    turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.
Show me the wonders of your great love, 
you who save by your right hand
    those who take refuge in you from their foes.
Keep me as the apple of your eye;
    hide me in the shadow of your wings
from the wicked who are out to destroy me,
    from my mortal enemies who surround me.

Manitowoc Garden Fair, June 13 2015

June 13 will be my next outdoor show.  I pray for good weather and a good day!

The Manitowoc Garden fair is in its 25th year and is a class A event.  This is my first year participating in this lovely show and I am looking forward to meeting some new folks in the Manitowoc area.

Tattered and Shabby remnants of Faith

I love the look of old and time worn.  On a recent treasure hunt I found this tattered Blessed Mother Mary statue.  She is made in Japan and is Vintage 1950s.  I just listed her on my vintage shop, "St Gabriels Garden"

I am not sure what caused the discoloration of this piece, but I work hard to actually re-create the aged appearance in my handmade wares.  A charming time worn and much loved piece and a memory of faith from years past.

Below I recreated the shabby charm in white on a cross with the Holy Trinity.  This lovely devotional is also available for purchase on my Vintage shop.

Some of my newest creations in upcycled-repurposed art.  Small Angel wings, shabby chic and white on a background of burlap.

I create each Angel wing art using recycled wood, vintage frames and very small metal wings.

They are painted and distressed white for the time worn, rustic chic charm!

I love Springtime!!

 Springtime!  My favorite time of the year....All the new life and the beautiful blossoms.  No weeds present yet....I love the blossoms of my flowering crab.  And the lovely hearts which dangle from my bleeding heart plant which I have attempted to plant on various occasions and have finally been blessed to have survive.

Alot of work goes into the spring with new mulch and transplants, but it is a labor of love...

salmon pink geraniums and impatiens.  I love a color theme...

A Beautiful hanging basket from my Daughter for Mothers Day and three flats of annuals in a salmon pink which is my color theme this year.  Can't wait to get them in the pots.

Then I have my secret Garden

Vintage sconces painted to compliment picture

I just completed this large custom wall art of the Madonna and child.  It is vintage inspired and created using an antique gesso frame, wood, paper, a digital image and decoupage.

This gorgeous piece is large in size.  It measures at 24"w x 29"h.  The largest I have ever done.  This lovely buyer is using this for her new baby's special nursery.  I hope to get a glimpse of the completed nursery after they finish, I think it will be stunning!

I will be shipping the piece to Canada and am praying that Our Lord and his Mother will get it there safely.  Many blessings are sent with this gorgeous devotional piece!
